Our mission

TOGETHER, we will help 1 million women join and thrive in tech industry in Europe, by 2030!

Women in Tech Alliance is formed by passionate women with diverse tech backgrounds, we recognize the importance of fostering a nurturing ecosystem for women entering or advancing in the industry. Our primary focus is on Southern Sweden, a region known for its vibrant blend of generations, nationalities, and cultural backgrounds, fueling creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

MISSION: to unite existing women's organizations in the region. Our aim is to provide unwavering support to women as they become equal contributors to the innovation and growth of tech-driven businesses, products, and services.

How we operate?

The “Marketing & Communication” area is dedicated to building and maintaining a strong, positive image for the WomenInTech Alliance, promoting its initiatives, and engaging with its diverse audience. This area focuses on strategic marketing, effective communication, and consistent branding to enhance visibility, attract supporters, and drive participation in programs and events of the WomenInTech Alliance.

The “Programs & Education & Events” area focuses on developing, organizing, and managing a variety of initiatives designed to support and empower women in the tech industry. This area is responsible for creating impactful programs and events that provide education, mentorship, networking opportunities, and career development resources to women at all stages of their tech careers. These should be a combination of our own initiatives as well as with our allies and partners.

The “People & Careers & Volunteers & Communities” suborganization under the WomenInTech Alliance is dedicated to fostering a supportive and dynamic ecosystem for women in technology. This area focuses on career development, volunteer engagement, and building vibrant communities that empower women to succeed and thrive in their tech careers. The sub-organization aims to provide resources, mentorship, networking opportunities, and volunteer programs to support women at all stages of their careers.

The "Finance and Administration" suborganization under the WomenInTech Alliance is responsible for the effective management of the organization's financial resources and administrative functions. This area ensures the financial health and operational efficiency of the alliance, enabling it to achieve its mission and strategic goals. Key responsibilities include budgeting, financial reporting, resource allocation, compliance, and the management of day-to-day administrative tasks.
